Everything below is held today, not applied for. Each item is given with the number or the wording printed on it, so it can be checked without taking our word for it.
A certificate is a statement about a system. It is not a statement about your building. Both halves are worth knowing before you put it in a tender file.
Design control, purchasing, production, inspection and corrective action, audited by an accredited body on a surveillance cycle. It says the same process is followed on a two hundred square metre shed and on a fifty thousand square metre park.
No management certificate does. Your building is covered by the drawings, the loads it was calculated for and the inspection records raised against it — documents that belong to your project, not to the company.
Where a market requires a structure to be approved under its own rules, that approval is issued locally, usually under the seal of an engineer registered there. An ISO 9001 certificate does not replace it, and we do not present it as if it did.
The number can be looked up with the issuing body, and the scope statement names which activities at which site are covered. Ask for those two, not the photograph of the plaque.
None of these wins a tender on its own. Together they answer the question behind the question: will this company still be there when phase two is built?
A state designation with a review cycle, granted for research and development activity rather than for size. It is why the detailing team can be five engineers and not two.
A provincial recognition for a narrow product focus, held for five consecutive years. It describes what we are: one thing, done repeatedly.
Held together with a safety production licence. It names the categories of work we are permitted to contract for and install ourselves — which is why the erection crew answers to the same company as the shop drawings.
Searchable in the public patent register. Each names a device or a method used in detailing, fabrication or erection — mostly small things that remove a decision from the site.
A credit and reputation rating, awarded in 2024. The least technical item on this page, and the one buyers ask for most often.
If your project needs an approval we do not have, you will hear it at the enquiry stage, in writing, before any deposit. An approval discovered late is a delay you paid for.
Four of the six items can be confirmed from public registers. The other two come in a single PDF with the first reply.
Certificate, scope statement, business licence and safety licence go out with the first substantive reply, as one PDF.
